Carolyn Roche is an Interior Designer with a passion for designing spaces which tell a story, bring people together and create unique and inspiring experiences.
After six years of living and working in Shanghai and New York City, Carolyn has spent the past four years in Toronto bringing her international experience home to the dynamic hospitality design team at DesignAgency. She has lead the design of various projects in the hospitality, corporate, media, education and healthcare sectors in Canada, the US, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.

A graduate of Interior Design from the Academy of Design in Toronto, Carolyn’s design background began while completing a Bachelor of Arts in Drama at Queen’s University. In this program she became involved in performance, lighting design, directing, choreography and technical theatre. Here she discovered a fascination with space and the way people interact with it, both as performers and in everyday life.
This background has given Carolyn a unique conceptual approach to design. Having also lived, traveled and worked in many parts of the world, she has learned to find creative ways to achieve design’s necessary balance of function and innovation. As a result, she designs spaces which tell a story, bring people together and create unique and inspiring experiences.
